ABOUT US
The AT&T Technology Institute (a PNR institute) is an online education, placement, and resource center institute to transform lives of students with disabilities from rural and economically weak sections of the society. Our goal is to reach out to more than one lakh beneficiaries in the state of Gujarat. With our focus on rural Gujarat, we are getting a step closer to "no one is left behind".
The Institute invites applications from students for vocational training in basic computer, applications, internet, and mobile repair training. This website provides information to help new applicants as well as existing students, including information on training, placement, scholarship, mentoring support, and free lodging and boarding. About The Institute
The institute is headquartered at the Natraj center in Bhavnagar, Gujarat with a number of Digital Campuses throughout the state of Gujarat. Currently we have two campuses: Bhavnagar and Mahuva. We are also planning to open a center in Sihor.
Online education is provided through three technology:
- Online education platform
- Zoom conferencing facilities for interactive sessions
- Managed cloud hosting by AWS (Amazon) to manage all online educational activities, and the entire online operation.
The students, anywhere in world, can access the platform through smartphones, tablets, laptops or desktops. The access to the platform requires widely available wireless internet connectivity or Wi-Fi or a landline Internet connectivity from a number of data services providers.
Our goal is to build, operate, and manage Digital Campuses closer to the rural area so it is convenient for the disabled community. This digital campus provides three functions to the beneficiaries:
- Connected devices and Internet connectivity
- Library
- Resource Center (including printers, and scanners) for all beneficiaries to use at any time.
ADMISSION PROCESS
The institute organizes seminars for awareness and exposure to the institute. For interested students, online forms are available and administrative support is available for any assistance required.
A number of online tools are available to assist students. In addition, administrators and faculty members are available to help the student make the appropriate choice based on your aptitude and aspirations.
The students are then taken through the admission process and once admission is completed, a suitable batch time is decided for the course based on the convenience of students as well as the faculty.
PEDAGOGY / TEACHING METHOD
The faculty teaches students using various teaching tools including video clips, charts, PDFs, and presentation so that students can easily grasp the concept and ask questions.
The faculty makes regular progress reports of students, conducts tests and holds weekly activities such that students can share knowledge and learn from each other.
Courses Offered (Overview)
Courses offered are based on our market reseach to teach marketable skills. Learning is a significant investment for students, institute as well as donors. Our goal is to transform lives of students with a measurable social as well as the financial impact. After the completion of the course, students have three options:
- Take additional courses.
- Start their own business (institute will help)
- Get employed either in a private company or a Government agency.
A large number of our past students have settled for better lives.
Connected Devices
Students can take courses using one of the following devices:
- DeskTop Computers: Take additional courses.
- Laptop Computers: The institute has 75 laptops available for loans during the education period.
- Smart Phones: Take additional courses.
For needy students, the institute will also provide:
- Mouse
- Hands-Free Earphones
- A dongle for internet connectivity. The recommended minimum Internet speed for Zoom connectivity is 50 mb/s.The institute will also reimburse the dongle recharge cost.
BOARDING and LODGING
Our main Digital Campus in Vidyanager, Bhavnagar provides lodging facilities for boys as well as girls, and the boarding facilities upto fifteen girls. Our second Digital Campus is in Mahuva, Bhavnagar district.
These facilities are developed keeping in mind the physical needs of the students. In addition of boarding, we provide various avenues of recreation and extra-curricular activities to build-up self-confidence. We ensure nutrition needs of our students are met with as long as they lodge at our facility. Students are provided three-course meals Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Providing a clean and safe environment is one of our values. We ensure access to clean drinking water, basic toilets, and good hygiene practices at our center, and a conducive environment to learn and grow.
COURSES OFFERED
AT&T Technology Institute offers 1 to 6 months courses via online mode. Currently these courses are either broadcasted from Ahmedabad or our digital Campus in Bhavnagar. In future, we envision that we will broadcast from other locations. Some courses which require only hands-on education, it will be offered only at the Digital campuses. Overall intent is to offer as many courses online as possible.
To give personalized attention to every student, our faculty member works closely with each student. We have the best arrangement of subject wise faculty for each training course. Senior and experienced faculty for each training course ensure that students attain up to date skills and technical knowledge that make them eligible for jobs in the digital field.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Basic Level Courses: Candidates seeking admission to basic level courses must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the AT&T Technology Institute For needy students, the institute will also provide:- Only candidates with more than 40% disability (as per disability certificate) can apply
- The candidate should be aged between 16 to 40 years
- The candidate should have a minimum of Class 8 education
Documentation Required: The following documents are necessary to seek admission and will be required prior to the admission. For needy students, the institute will also provide:
- Aadhar Card
- Mark sheet (last attempted and passed)
- Disability Certificate
- 2 Passport sized photos
- For legal documents (Stamp paper + notary), a witness and Aadhar card of witness
ADVANCED LEVEL COURSES
Candidates seeking admission to Advanced level courses (in-class or online) must meet the minimum eligibility criteria (please specify)set by the AT&T Technology Institute
How to Apply:
A candidate can apply to any course by filling out online application form using www.atttech.online website. Please read the admission criteria section to understand eligibility and documentation needed.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Students who complete their course and clear the final examinations with passing grade will be provided a certificate of completion. The certificates are generated online after the course is completed successfully.
ENTREPRENEUR/SELF-BUSINESS GUIDELINES
Students who are looking for guidance for starting their own business can consult with the respective course’s faculty.
Furthermore, you need to start thinking on the following points. This is a broad framework that will help you start your planning on the right path.
- Refine your Idea
- Write a Business Plan
- Assess your Finances and Funding needs by noting requirements for infrastructure – physical and IT, overheads, operational costs, salary, marketing and travel costs.

FACULTY
All faculty members of the Institute are available for guidance at all times – point of admission for course selection, during the course, and even after the examination is completed. Faculty takes special care to ensure that all students get proper guidance on getting jobs and learn about government schemes that will help them get placement or loans, as needed.
FINANCIAL AID
No one should have to go without access to education due to lack of money.
If you come from an underprivileged background and you or your parents are not in a position to fund your education, we at the AT&T Technology Institute help you find options for the appropriate financial aid.

Any kind of loan for people with disabilities is taken by NHFDC (National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation) through the State Channelizing Agencies (SCA), Non-Governmental Organizations, Nationalized Banks, and Regional Rural Banks.
SCA’s sanctions loans below INR 10 Lakh and loans above INR 10 Lakhs are sanctioned by NHFDC. However, loans are extended by NHFDC through Nationalized Banks and Rural Banks.
Furthermore, there is a microfinancing scheme for low-income borrowers in NHFDC in which NGOs approach the respective SCA and applications are submitted by NGOs with all the necessary details and documents of the borrower.
